Soil erosion, water seapage, and undesirable buildup of pond scum are just a few of the problems evident in pond utilization. Whether the purpose is for aquaculture farming, wastewater collection, or cosmetic landscaping, treating the base of the pond with soil stabilzers during construction or re-conditioning the base at some future date can improve the strength of the banks and provide a “sealing effect” throughout to keep in good water and keep undiserable water characteristics minimized.
